Beleza Negra
[PT-BR] Novembro é o Mês da Consciência Negra - período dedicado a celebrar e valorizar a história, a cultura e as contribuições da população negra no Brasil e em diferentes partes do mundo. Como artista negra e latino-americana, me inspirei na minha cidade, no bairro em que nasci e em minha herança ancestral para representar e enaltecer a beleza negra como protagonista dessa arte. Pude explorar diferentes estilos de cabelos, tons de pele e elementos gráficos nos diferentes personagens dessa composição, além de misturar texturas digitais e analógicas nesse projeto pessoal.
[EN] November is Black Awareness Month – a period dedicated to celebrating and valuing the history, culture, and contributions of the Black population in Brazil and in different parts of the world. As a Black and Latin American artist, I drew inspiration from my city, the neighborhood where I was born, and my ancestral heritage to represent and exalt Black beauty as the protagonist of this art. I was able to explore different hairstyles, skin tones, and graphic elements in the various characters in this composition, as well as mix digital and analog textures in this personal project.
