#Mermay
PT-BR Mermay é um desafio criativo que acontece todo ano durante o mês de maio, com o objetivo de incentivar artistas ao redor do mundo a criarem e compartilharem artes com a temática das sereias e seu universo. Essa é uma série de ilustrações autorais inspiradas nesses seres mitológicos e na atmosfera fantástica de onde elas habitam. Como conceito, criei personagens gigantes junto à pequenas criaturas marinhas e pessoas minúsculas e curiosas. Escolhi mesclar técnica digital com texturas manuais, criando cenas quase surreais em meu estilo, com uma paleta de cores incomum, mágica e misteriosa. Projeto pessoal, 2022
EN Mermay is a creative challenge that takes place in the month of may with the aim of encouraging artists around the world to create and share art with a mermaid theme. This is a series of original illustrations inspired by these mythological beings and the fantastic atmosphere they inhabit. As a concept, I created giant characters alongside small sea creatures and tiny, curious people. I chose to mix digital techniques with manual textures, creating almost surreal scenes in my style, with an unusual, magical and mysterious color palette. Personal project, 2022
